Biography

In the beginning... there was nothing. And then, Jestyr arrived. Now, like most children, Dallas and Eddie were born, But unlike most children, they were born several light-years away from each other. However, fate would conspire against the nonbelievers of the universe, and they were united on a planet in a puke-shaped galaxy called Earth. Here they grew together, until Dallas had to leave Earth to protect his home planet from nearby invaders. While he was away, Eddie was murdered in his attempt to unite the two sides in the war for the return of good music. As soon as news reached Dallas, he quickly began his search for the fabled guitar strings that brought to life the ancient warlord, Randy of Rhoads. Along the way, he was ambushed by an army of millions of bear-like creatures. After defeating them with his "bare" hands, he found the creator of the strings inside a fiery cave atop a mountain of ashes and dead men. The man demanded his life for the strings, but Dallas fixed a look of blazing hatred on the man, who then agreed to make them for no charge. After 70 years of living in the crimson cave, waiting for the strings to be done, he clipped the end of one of the strings and made a time machine. He traveled back to the time when Eddie was killed, but he got there just in time to look into Eddie's eyes as he died. There was no time for grieving, immediately he set off to look for Eddie's father, Richard Poor, ancient woodworker of the gods, to retrieve Eddie's guitar. Upon hearing of his son's death, Richard was doubtful of Dallas' true intentions, but once again, the look in his eyes prevailed, and he rode the winds to Eddies burial ground, guitar in hand. He knelt on the grave, and played one last song on Eddie's guitar, the ballad of "Diamonds and Rust" by some of the more well-known gods of the human realm, Judas Priest. Suddenly, a hand rose out of the grave and grabbed the guitar. The hand was quickly followed by the body. Dallas grinned, for he knew what was destined, Ragnarock. They would destroy the world with their music, they would save it from itself and rebuild it. He handed Eddie the guitar, and Eddie handed Dallas the mystical mic stand he was buried with. And it was good. They both knew that they would rock, no one could deny it. And they DID rock. They rocked like a hurricane, like one hundred million earthquakes. And the people of the world knelt, and they chanted Jestyr. And the group knew what they were, what they were meant to be all along. They took up their rightful throne atop the highest peaks of the universe. But as with all legends, there will always be nonbelievers. So after millenia of peaceful slumber, Jestyr must rise once again to take what is rightfully theirs, and for all eternity they will be known not as Jestyr, not as Eddie and Dallas, but as Gods.
